Welcome to Apple Country
Hi Plains Orchards Pick your own fun at our 6,000 tree apple orchard! West Texas breezes carry the fresh smell of 6,000 apple trees to
visitors at Apple country, where apples can be picked from the trees or
purchased from the Apple Country store. Much more is awaiting the
visitor from our unique gift shop, to the bakery and our country café.
Designed as a pick-your-own operation, the 29 year old orchard is comprised of 30 varieties of apples. Not only do the apples beat store prices, but tree-ripened apples simply taste better. Our West Texas climate allows apple growers a longer growing season and a more flavorful apple.
One of the most pleasurable aspects of Apple Country is the people who visit us here. Visitors come from the West Texas area, from other states, and from overseas. Extended families come to see us. Children bring their parents and grandparents. And lovely couples tie the knot and say "I do" in our wedding Gazebo !!! All enjoy this special time together. Please take time to join us and learn more about Apple Country.
